The Connecticut advertising agency has hired a new chief executive to lead its advertising services division.

Mark D. Renshaw, 56, was named president of advertising services Tuesday.

He will join the firm from the Stamford advertising agency.

Renshaw will oversee advertising and public relations for the agency, which handles about $100 million in advertising revenue each year, according to the Connecticut Department of Public Safety.

He previously was director of public relations at the Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy.

The agency’s chief financial officer, Steve Nettles, will also continue to work as the agency’s senior executive director.

Nettles will also serve as the chief financial advisor for the Connecticut Board of Regents.
